Zveza Radioamaterjev Slovenije (ZRS) has more than
3000 members.
There are 117 clubs, members of ZRS.

Class A allows all frequencies, all bands, all modes,
maximum power allowed is 1500W. It is in accordance with CEPT licence.

Class N has access to some of the HF bands (80m, 40m, 15m
and 10m) and all of VHF and UHF bands with maximum 100W allowed on the
HF bands and 25W on the VHF/UHF.

In April 1998 Slovenia signed CEPT recommendations.

Members are active at ARDF - Fox Hunting as well as in Packet Radio and other digital modes.
ZRS is active member of IARU, which is member of ITU.
It is also organizer of Diploma Slovenija award and open activity contest - ZRS marathon .
From 1st of May until 31st of December 2004, S5 radioamateurs had special call signs.
