Living Game Worlds at Georgia Tech
Date: Thursday, February 15 @ 23:03:17 CET
Topic: Opportunities

For the line-up alone the Living Game Worlds conference looks well worth attending, with the likes of Will Wright, Ralph Koster and Johnny Wilson gracing the microphone. From the site:

Digital designers for the past two decades and for the foreseeable future are faced with inventing their medium at the same time as they invent particular applications. What have we learned that can speed up the process of harnessing the power of the computer as a medium of human expression? This Symposium brings together leading designers from several traditions –
to share their own processes and to reflect on the future of design.

I'm actually at Georgia Tech (Georgia, America) now serving as an artist in residence and doing a little teaching. Sadly i'll just miss this conference in time to kick off an artistic game development workshop in Spain.

Nonetheless, I'll be covering a few of the projects made by folk here at GaTech over the next few weeks and keeping you up to date with what my students are upto.
