From 15th - 17th June Blast Theory will be running a 3 day test version of Day Of The Figurines as part of Sonar International Festival of Advance Music and Multimedia in Barcelona, Spain.
Set in a fictional town described as “dark and underpinned with steady decay”, the game takes place over 3 days with each day representing one hour in the life of the town. As more and more unusual events unfold in the town, players choose how to respond and to help or communicate with other figurines via SMS messages.
“Part board game, part secret society” the game aims to invite “players to establish their own codes of behaviour and morality within a parallel world”. The full version will run over 24 days in Berlin during September.
