Dynamic and inspired. Challenging and visionary. Provocative and groundbreaking. All these terms describe the Festival du New Cinema - Montreal (FNC). Recognized for its bold, eclectic programming, the FNC is a multidisciplinary happening that fuses mediums and genres. In keeping with its aim of promoting cinéma d'auteur, independent video, and creativity in new media, the FNC is constantly on the lookout for new and original works. Innovation and exploration are the guiding principles of the FNC's programming, which is divided into four main categories: International Selection, Special Presentation, Temps Zero and Open Source (digital work).

Éclaté et inspiré, exigeant et visionnaire, provocateur et défricheur, le Festival du nouveau Cinéma de Montréal (FNC) est un événement unique dédié à la diffusion et au développement du cinéma d'auteur et de la création numérique. Reconnu pour sa programmation éclectique et audacieuse, le FNC est un véritable happening multidisciplinaire qui prône la fusion des médiums et des genres. À l'affût de créations originales et inédites, le FNC se consacre à la promotion du cinéma d'auteur, de la vidéo indépendante et de la création dans le domaine des nouveaux médias. L'innovation et l'exploration s'imposent comme les lignes maîtresses de la programmation divisée en quatre grandes sections : Sélection Internationale, Présentation Spéciale, Temps Zéro et Open Source (création numérique).
