archive: Into The Pixel
Posted on Saturday, September 18 @ 00:00:00 CEST by rebecca

Exhibitions Into the Pixel was a celebration of video game art curated by interactive entertainment industry art veterans and experts from the art establishment. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of E3, Into the Pixel was an opportunity for published video game artists, Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Members, and E3 exhibitors to be reviewed and recognized by their industry and the art establishment.

The exhibition featured 16 pieces of art from computer and video games, selected from more than 120 submissions by a jury of game industry art veterans and representatives of the traditional art world. ITP was a joint effort between The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), and The Graphic Arts Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (GAC-LACMA).
