New research in Toronto's York University has found that Computer Game Players have superior mental agility, performing better at tasks which involve filtering mental noise, multitasking and analysing complex information: mental efficiencies similar to those possessed by bilingual people. Bilingual gamers top the ranks.

The York study, which tested subjects' responses to various misleading visual cues, is to be published next month in the Canadian Journal of Experimental Psychology.
