Bunkerjev novoletni ples 2017 s Prisego
V soboto, 10. decembra, vas vabimo v Staro mestno elektrarno na Bunkerjev novoletni ples.
Ob 20.00 začnemo s posebno izdajo performansa Prisega. Tokrat bomo v Kitch kafani prisegli še strastneje.

School in Culture
Maribor, 23 – 25 November 2015
Following the example of Shools in Nature, we will organize three days of activities for school kids, which will focus on learning about various art forms and on understanding the cultural landscape of the city of Maribor. In addition to learning about the arts we offer the children and their mentors a possibility to create it.

Parallel is a story, actually two stories, about the creation of one’s own identity. About vulnerability and loneliness, and at the same time, about courage and freedom of establishing one’s own identity. It’s a story in three acts, taking place in three symbolic places – TV-aerobics, men’s toilet, and at the end, one-(wo)man show – through which we are guided by two young performers, Kata Bodoki-Halmen and Lucia Mărneanu, among nudity, grotesque, football, cliché jokes, original music on the ukulele, and drag show. The persuasiveness of their performance and the exceptional dramaturgical rhythm of the directors Leta Popescu and Ferenc Sinkó, along with the background music, mixed live by Danaga, blend together to create feelings of sincerity and intimacy that give goosebumps.

MDLSX is like a bildungsroman or bildungsperformance – a story of the formation and growing up of a personality, but in contrast to the centuries gone by, when identity was fixed during growing up, we are now witnessing how it crumbles and fights for its existence and recognition. How we recognize and create – rather than accept and adopt – our identity while growing up. The performance unfolds as a sequence of musical pieces, with Silvia Calderoni, initiator of the performance on sexual identity and dealing with an elusive sexual identity herself, assuming the role of DJ on the stage. Inspirations from novels, mythology and theoretical texts are pulled into the vortex of music and Silvia’s transitions between her role as the performer, i.e. herself, and the actor, depicting various characters. Pieces of Silvia’s life blend into one, thus blurring the boundary between fiction and reality.
Italian collective of Motus consists of directors and dramaturges Enrico Casagrande and Daniela Nicolò, joined by performer Silvia Calderoni. With their characteristic authorial poetics, they address the big issues of the Greek dramas and permeate them with the problematic topics of our time.
The performance will be followed by a discussion with the artists.

In their performance, members of Beton Ltd. collective, actors, performers and authors Katarina Stegnar, Branko Jordan and Primož Bezjak posed questions to themselves and to each other, relating to their personal, professional and social starting points, and spanning back to three separate time periods: the 1970s and the context of the former Yugoslavia, the period of adolescence, ending with the maturity exam in the 1990s, and the projection into the future, which remains intangible. A decade of happiness and comfort, with the first premonitions of decay, a decade of graduation and great prospects of the new country, and a decade of facing the reality and stolen promises.
The performance combines personal stories of the protagonists with historical milestones and is characterized by the typical Beton aesthetics; an attractive theatre where the gaps, the premonitions of problems and the conflicts hide in the undertones of the spectacular, the good music, the outstanding acting and dancing.
The performance will be followed by a discussion.

19.–25. november 2015
predfestivalski sprehod: 19. november ob 17.00
festivalski sprehodi: 23., 24. in 25. november ob 17.00
pričetek sprehodov pod Starim mostom pri restavraciji Orient
Petr Šourek, sicer filozof, prevajalec, režiser, scenarist in še kaj, je našel genialno nišo: v Pragi, mestu, preplavljenem z milijoni turistov, je s kolegi gledališčniki ustanovil turistično agencijo Corrupt tours, namenjeno izključno ogledovanju uspehov korupcije, ene najbolj cvetočih kultur današnjega časa.

Prav v tem je pomembnost umetnosti; polje nedefiniranega, kjer vznikajo nove izbire in kjer so življenja in identitete zunaj kategorij, zunaj dihotomij. Letošnji program Drugajanja vabi prav k razmisleku o identitetah in k doživetju identitet zunaj centra, naj bodo spolne, politične ali lokalno-globalne Več …
