Garden by the way: WORKSHOPS FOR THE YOUTHFUL AND THE YOUNGEST

It is our great pleasure to have certain schools and kindergartens join the project as well. We created two large garden beds next to the Tone Čufar Primary School on the Neighbour’s Day which took place in the end of June and planted them with garden vegetables and flowers under the guidance of Boris Fras, President of the Union of Slovenian Organic Farmers Association (USOFA).
Furthermore, students of the 6th grade critically reflected upon the current state of their school courtyard and made drawings for its better rearrangement during their technical class with the help of Aleksander S. Ostan.

Architect with an in-depth knowledge of permaculture and a great storyteller Ira Zorko paid a visit to France Prešeren Kindergarten to plan a new herbal bed in a spiral form together with the children.
