Garden by the way: ProstoRož- REVITALIZATION OF THE TABOR PARK

The Tabor park is the only park as such in this part of the city and even though hardly even noticed these days, it used to be a vibrant gathering point for the local inhabitants in the past.

A sociological-anthropological research of the Tabor local district had brought our attention to it, which is why we decided to place this park together with the ProstoRož group into focus at the IPOP workshop.

Correspondingly to the research findings, ProstoRož prepared a series of five actions to be performed in cooperation with the local inhabitants during one year time. Everyone will thus be kindly invited to participate in activities such as installation of the public lighting, care of the greenery and the birds, restoration of the playground and improvement of the traffic arrangement.

The first action of many to come will start this fall with the aim to restore the benches and to create a boules court, a basketball court and a sandbox.
