Cie Wejna: REZO (France)

This is the way we are: a disparate crowd of passers-by who somehow meet, exchange fleeting glances, part and cross again, each chance encounter suggesting the necessity of greater emotional engagement, accumulating into a hyper-novel of disrupted narratives. The momentum is beguiling as we witness the pattern of life’s significant events unfolding, a pattern that can usually be recognised only in retrospect.

Sylive Pabiot studied philosophy and contemporary dance, and danced with Maguy Marin for a number of years before creating her own company based in the Auvergne.
