The perversion of faith named reality could be seen as a flow of various interpretations and creations of the human mind. Bila bi palma represents a dream about the travel into an exotic world, about something else and something different, about the life one dreams of while being confronted with motionless, stillness and the dwelling limited to one single place. It is within this experiential framework that we are trying to find a way to bring dreams and reality closer together.

Masque Teatro: JUST INTONATION

Just intonation epitomises the long research that Masque carried out on Franz Kafka, through the theoretical diagram by Gilles Deleuze. Just intonation drops the machines of The Kafka Machine but retains the animal component… waiting for the danger to materialise. Two destinies are at the centre of the story: the destiny of the instrument and the destiny of the figure. There are still the body and the movement who make the form imperceptible. The body-woman is becoming secret, hiding nothing, by means of innocence and precision, even at the cost of a frightful technicality. (more…)

Betontanc & Umka.LV: SHOW YOUR FACE!

Ever since its premiere in 2006 Show your face! has managed to bewitch thousands already. It was applauded by elementary and high school students, it received an award at Maribor Theatre Festival, it got standing ovations in The Old Power Station and at numerous guest appearances.

We would like to invite you to come see its last reprises in Slovenia, since the team is to travel to the US in January to enthuse the American audience and critics all the way from New York to Los Angeles. (more…)
