18th International Festival of Contemporary Arts – CITY OF WOMEN

Aging represents this year’s main festival theme. The topics are tackled by women artists of all generations, though with emphasis on artists of the middle and older generations, from all over the world and will range from intimate reflections on their attitude to their own bodies, its alleged defects and faults, to a broader social and critical dealing with the euphoric recourse to plastic surgery and the aggressive dictates of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Mladi Levi festival: FILM AND CARTOON WORKSHOPS

Youngsters have had a chance to dwell on the theme of the greenery in one’s home town at film and cartoon workshops. These had been held in the framework of the Kinodvor children and youth program entitled Kinobalon, as a part of the summer film marathon for children and youth.

FF 600′ – The 5th short film festival

This festival presents works of promising young artists to the public and also to professional moviemakers. The programme consists of six categories: cartoons, video-clips, one-minute films, experimental films, short feature movies and documentaries. The jury of three professional filmmakers will award the best work from each category.
