InterKlepec

InterKlepec is an interactive, inter genre, intergenerational, and intermedia performance. It is an animated improvisational/musical/narrative event which combines the brains and bodies of a musician Žiga Golob, illustrator dr. Horowitz and narrator Rok Kušlan, who jointly explore the popular hero from the Upper Kolpa region – Peter Klepec, whose story has been written by several different authors.

Ex/odus of Joy is a musical‑theatre fresco, an attempt to create a dialogue between the orchestra and the actress. The interweaving of Migration Waltz by Natasha Bogojevich with interpreted diary monologues and author’s alter ego (singer Katja Konvalinka) poses questions of migration and freedom, creation, the surplus, and the position of women in modern society. International festival MLADI LEVI 2019

Dear friends,

we are happy to announce the preliminary program of the 22nd edition of MLADI LEVI International Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, which will take place from August 24th to 31st 2019. This year’s festival is bringing together artists, thinkers and audiences to spend 9 exciting days of sharing and exploring beneath the surface, through different layers of things and their relations to today’s society.

A part fo the festival programme is dealing with the theme of emotional materialism, which will be unfolded from theoretical perspective at the summer conference trans-making in the frame of the festival.
