Walid Raad is an artist and a Professor of Art in The Cooper Union (New York, USA). We are happy to finally host him in the Old Power Station in Ljubljana for an artist talk (11.4.2018 at 8p.m.), where Walid Raad will present his two long term ongoing projects, The Atlas Group (1989-2004) and Scratching on things I could disavow.

Big Band RTV Slovenija & Don Menza

Legendary saxophone player, composer and music arranger Don Menza will turn 82 in April this year. Despite his age, Don Menza sounds better with each passing year. His famous “Big Sound”, accompanied by Big Band RTV Slovenia, will fill up the Old Power Station. Menza has collaborated with the most prominent Big Bands led by world famous musicians Maynard Ferguson, Stan Kenton, and Buddy Rich. Mala Kline: THE POOL –Dreaming in improvisation and real-time composition

In this workshop, the warm-up will consist of fascia and imagery‑based bodywork, which serve as a source of movement and dance. Touch based protocols stimulate the inter-connective body, while the imagery helps us to engage with our different bodies and the connections between them.
