SYLVIA
Authos’r project Sylvia is a theatre happening. It’s focal point is a research about the artist Sylvia Plath, whos artistic opus combines poetry, personal diary entries and as a fighter for emancipation of women artists.

The performance was produced by Društvo VLU in collaboration with Stara elektrarna.
The project is financially suppported by City municipality of Ljubljana.

“In the event of a loss of cabin pressure in an airplane, please fit your own mask before helping others.”

Cultural Days Playground for Theatre 2.0
The duo explores the relationship between two dancers and everything that emerges between them as a consequence of their differences. Firmly anchored in a poetic friendship, it travels between duality and oneness, removes down-to-earth patterns of verbal communication, and introduces a universal communication level, aiming to display the diversity of comprehending and regulating physical actions, regardless of age, political, religious or national affiliation, personal principles and beliefs. Cultural Days in the old Power Station
March 12–18
As part of the Theatre Playground 2.0 project, we will organise culture days for primary schools from all over Slovenia during five days in March. The culture days will be intended for 7th, 8th and 9th form pupils, and their learning about contemporary performing arts – so that young people follow creativity as viewers and learn about it as artists too.
