Hannover is hosting Lyrical Minutes in the City
The overall enthusiasm brought about by the Lyrical Minutes in the City has triggered its guest appearances abroad. Opera artists will be a special surprise for the visitors of Kleines Fest im Großen Garten (Little Festival in the Great Garden), the most successful Cabaret Festival in Germany, which takes place from 10 to 28 July in Hannover.

After the successful hosting at the Cabaret Festival Kleines Fest im Großen Garten (Little Festival in the Great Garden), which was held from 10 to 28 of July in Hannover, our opera artists will be a special surprise for the visitors of Sziget Festival, one of the biggest European Festivals, which takes place from 5th to 12th of August in Budapest.

Two singers find themselves alone on the empty stage. Without solo singer and without the band. Both are quite lost, but in fact they are not so helpless. They have a program. And the opportunity to step into the foreground. This is the opportunity of a lifetime to take over the game. But whose is this game actually? At a time when all decisions are coming from a some blurred background, only those can come to the fore, with which background can play its own game.

We are announcing: Mladi Levi International Festival 2013
The Mladi Levi International Festival is the most visible annual event of the Bunker Institute and is the culmination of Bunker’s long term efforts for a better quality of life while preserving its cutting edge character and consistently placing performances into its focus. This year’s programme will be structured around music theatre, dance performances, new circus, documentary theatre, and few projects engaging inhabitants of Ljubljana for participation in artistic processes and public space. Leja Jurišić (1978)
A graduate in The Science of Law. She trained gymnastics and won the title of National Champion of Yugoslavia in 1991. Jurišić created critically acclaimed solo R’z’R (2005). With Teja Reba she created Between Us (2009) and Sofa (2010). Her solo performance Ballet of Revolt was premiered in Tanzquartier Wien (2012). Debut solo R’z’R has won Jurišić special jury award at Festival Gibanica (2005). Between Us was selected for Gibanica (2011), festival Mladi levi (2011) and has until now gained more than 27.000 Vimeo plays. Beside working as a choreographer Jurišić as a dancer and performer collaborates with artists such as Sebastijan Horvat (Utopija I and II, 2009), Janez Janša (Fake it!, 2008) and Meg Stuart (It’s not Funny, 2007).
Teja Reba (1978)
Is an evolving interdisciplinary artist that grew up between Yugoslavia and France. She was studying Arts at the Sorbonne University in Paris and spent some years as an exchange student at Universities in India and Japan. She has collaborated and toured extensively with theatre director Janez Janša. She began to devellop her own work in collaboration with the choreographer and performer Leja Jurišić since 2007. Between Us in gained big critical acclaim and is still touring. Since 2010 she is working closely with Loup Abramovici with whom they created the event 650 experiences, designated as the most thrilling dance piece in 2012.

Katarina Stegnar (Ljubljana, 1976) is an actress, dancer and performer, AGRFT graduate and one of the most versatile theatre artists, who is working for institutional theatres as well as independent production. Through time she developed a unique performing field, where she is exploring practices of performing presentation and questioning her own creativity as a medium she is expressing herself in. Since 1999 she has been a permanent member of the group Betontanc, in 2004 she joined the group Via Negativa, since 2010 she has been a member of the collective Beton Ltd.
