Darja Demšar, Neža Žehelj: FETUS
This interactive performance explores the status of the fetus in the womb, as well as our current creativity while belonging to an infinite space in the universe. The installation builds an illusion of an organic space, created through video projections and the setting up of a huge womb with a floating man inside. The sound exploration creates atmospheres, which host the dancer in her travels through her feelings and thoughts in relation to the fetus. (more…)
Concert: HARMONIES OF SLOVENIA
The release of a double record with contemporary folk music from various Slovenian regions will be followed by a concert, which Celinka is currently preparing in order to introduce all the vocalists and musicians that took part in the recording. The concert’s co-organizers are the Folk Slovenia Cultural Society and the Public Fund for Cultural Activities of the Republic of Slovenia. (more…)

Masque Teatro: JUST INTONATION
Just intonation epitomises the long research that Masque carried out on Franz Kafka, through the theoretical diagram by Gilles Deleuze. Just intonation drops the machines of The Kafka Machine but retains the animal component… waiting for the danger to materialise. Two destinies are at the centre of the story: the destiny of the instrument and the destiny of the figure. There are still the body and the movement who make the form imperceptible. The body-woman is becoming secret, hiding nothing, by means of innocence and precision, even at the cost of a frightful technicality. (more…)
TEDxLjubljana
A Sunday in May will see the now-sixth TEDxLjubljana event, the first one having been in the spring of 2009 at The Jožef Stefan Institute. Stara mestna elektrarna – Elektro Ljubljana will host 8 speakers in two parts: Who sets boundaries (to oneself)?, and Art and science/technology intertwining.
It’s for everyone with a fervour for ideas, which deserve to be spread even further.
