Mladi Levi festival: IN SEARCH OF THE LOST GARDEN

An improvised walk across Tabor and Šempeter with an architect, permaculturalist and a storyteller Ira Zorko, once again returning to the completely changed area of his childhood. He used to live at Rozmanova 2, in the Ravnikar apartment building in the height of the St Peter church bells.
We were in a relaxed and curious spirit for about an hour, discovering the preserved traces of a past millennium by the help of the old maps, counting children on the playgrounds, vegetable gardens and fruit trees, taking a peek in a coal storage hole or a doorway and smuggle ourselves into the inner courtyards, looking for a tailor, a shoemaker and ancient water pipes to cool ourselves down, running into an interesting inhabitant for a chat, measuring local trees with our bodies, walking with our eyes closed every now and again, climbing up a terrace of one of the skyscrapers or bell towers in search of distant view.
