L. Bangarter, Lukas Bangarter: RANDOM-PLASMA-PROJECT 9 (EX PONTO FESTIVAL)

Plasma is a theatre, dealing with questions such as, why is something something and not nothing.
RANDOM – life as a casino, a lottery of possibilities and the ambitious attempts of impostors to give destiny a clip on the ear. Who will blast a bank? Which clatter sounds like the last spark of freedom?
Plasma transforms the stage into a petri dish, where the culture medium is a nutritious solution which satisfies coincidences. A handful of happiness seekers are being caught in a generator of coincidences, which is a brilliant amalgam of a musical and performance. While they’re trying to find out why something happens and something doesn’t, they harm themselves or someone else and break through the barriers of the intelligible. The result is an increasingly less controllable music and an action transformer with time passages.
The Lukas Bangarther’s ensemble ventures into the arms of predestined steadfastness with a great deal of enjoyment, only to move away again: they always sway between an ironic distance and melancholic yearning.
