PRACTICAL TECHNICAL WORKSHOP

Light and sound designers as well as light, sound video and set technicians all belong in the line of the so-called support professions in performing arts. The masters of these trades work closely with artists in order to create theatre magic – a world finally experienced by the audience. Zavod Bunker has been continuously organizing various lectures and workshops on the subject and will also organize a practical education in the framework of Practical technical workshops for the third year in a row already.
Fourteen young dancers and choreographers will bring their dance miniatures Kratki rezi #3 to an end after having gone through several weeks of preparation in Ljubljana. Our workshop participants will turn into their technical and creative collaborators, starting to “equip” the miniatures with light, sound, video and scene after the initial workshop. They will have full autonomy in applying their knowledge, previously acquired at the workshop and will merely consult their mentors for general guidance and mutual search for better or different solutions. They will also learn communication and team work on stage in the process.
