Via Negativa: CASABLANCA THERAPY
The cooperation between Via Negativa and international organisation DNA (Development of New Art, an association of cultural organisations from Prague, Bratislava, Warsaw, Budapest, Aarhus and Ljubljana, represented by the Glej Theatre) will give birth to a new international project, which brings together five female performers: Marie-Louise Stentebjerg and Emma-Cecilia Ajanki from Denmark, Anita Wach and Magdalena Tuka from Poland, Katalin Kovacs from Hungary and a Via Negativa performer Grega Zorc from Slovenia. The abovementioned female performers were selected at a workshop at the end of January in Prague. The premiere will take place on the 6th of May in Budapest, which will be followed by the hosting of several performances in Prague, Ljubljana, Bratislava, Warsaw and Aarhus. The essential question we are concerned with in the frame of this project is if and in what way can love as an “artistic theme” bear any interest for the contemporary scene art audience?
Text and scenes are authorial work carried out by performers and the director.
