The May Day School is a traditional project of the Institute for Labour Studies that is about to take place for the fifth time in the row this year in Slovenia. In the past years we delved into the questions of the Yugoslav self-management system, the crisis of Euro-integrations and the issue of primitive accumulation. This year’s May Day School will bring the analysis of the peripheral classes into focus. The program will introduce lecturers from the former states of Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Each participant will outline the social perspective of the society they live in respectively, whereas the general aim of the school is to foster formation of common political views. Four lectures and eight panel discussions will take place during the four school days.
