It is a documentaryperformancejoiningvariousopinionsandviews (frominterviewees in thestreet to politicians, theoreticiansandexperts in thefieldsofcontemporaryart, lawandmanyother social spheres) related to thequestionsofidentityandidentification, multitudeandmultiplication, name as aninterfacebetweentheprivateandthepublic: personal name as a brand.

It is a walkthroughvariousstagesandaspectsofchanging one’s name anditsconsequences (thepublic as well as therelationalandtheintimateones), a research as to how, in theWesternworld, theconceptof a personal name coincideswiththequestionof a person’s identity (or differsfrom it). Ifweparaphrase Shakespeare’s Juliet: »Would a rose smellanydifferent, ifits name was Janez Janša?«
