Festival BalFra
May 31 and June 1
BalFra is a festival of francophone theatre in the Balkan region, which will bring together five groups this year. The Old Power Station will host a wide variety of performances connected by a common language: Les Théâtreux group from Ljubljana presents the comedy Toc-toc; Les précieuses balkaniques group from Niš is preparing a short set of scenes from the everyday life of the rural Serbia; the Belgrade group Les Je-m’en-foutistes will present a socio‑political comedy Liquidation totale. In Le père Noël est une ordure, a group from Sarajevo is looking for new faces of Santa Claus; and a group from Zagreb will present themselves with a play Forfanteries which reveals what is going on in theatres when there are no performances.
