“In the project Everything We’ve Lost While We’ve Gone On Living, the now already recognizable creative attitude of the Beton Ltd. collective, which is reflected in the continuously responsive and forthcoming commentary on the time and the world in which we live at the moment, materializes by putting the image of the actual present side by side with the past.
By recalling history, they evoke not only the sweet nostalgia, but also the individual pain of the of the complete contrast between past and present. Primož Bezjak, Branko Jordan and Katarina Stegnar mark the timeline with three episodes: the first one is the year of their births (1977), the second one marks their prom event, and the third one is conceived as the absolute here and now.” Zala Dobovšek, Delo
