Miron Hauser and the Big Band RTV Slovenia

The Old Power Station once again hosts the Big Band RTV Slovenia, this time with a concert titled Tu fragancia! This will be an evening of a jazz trombonist and composer Miron Hauser, who will also conduct the orchestra.

Concerto was premiered in May 2016 in the context of the season the Jazz Orchestra of the Croatian Radio and Television, in the room Gorgon of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb. In Ljubljana we will host an attractive latino jazz program, in which each work is inspired by one of many Cuban musical genres. In collaboration with two outstanding latino masters, members of the group Cubismo (Rupčićm and Mladen Hrvoje Ilić) and Cuban musician Lazarusom Amedom Hierrezuelom Zumeto, the Big Band RTV Slovenia, led by Miron Hauser will create an amazing musical experience. Miron Hauser sought an inspiration for the songs of the concert repertoire in Cuban music. The program is therefore Hauser’s tribute to this great musical culture and at the same time its reinterpretation, with a rich energetic and rhythmic mixture of jazz and latino.
