This year Betontanc will present drama play Možda smo mi Miki Maus. The performance is being made in Belgrade in co-production with National Theatre in Belgrade and festival Sterijino pozorje in Novi Sad. Artistic cast of the group stays the same; director Matjaž Pograjc, set and light designer Tomaž Štrucl, costume designer Mateja Benedetti, choreographer Branko Potočan and sound designer Jure Vlahovič. This time director Matjaž Pograjc decided to create a magical dance-theatre performance with Serbian actors but with Betontanc’s artistic expression. During the audition in Belgrade he selected eight young and not yet renowned actors mostly from Serbia, but also from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Drama Možda smo mi Miki Maus was written by young Serbian playwright and dramaturge Maja Pelević. In 2007 she won an award by Sterijino pozorje for the original dramatic text. The drama is inspired by Belgrade graphite with a boy and a girl, embraced, with plastic ears on their heads. In the centre of the play is an old camera, through which the characters of the play pass. The play deals with time and the relationship of an individual towards our own “petrified” moments in life. As a starting point it takes photography, which best reflects the desire for eternity and at the same time fear from fugacity.
