Urška Vohar: THE REPUBLIC, OR BON VOYAGE GRETA GARBO

The Republic, Or Bon Voyage Greta Garbo is Urška Vohar’s Slovene debut. After two solo performances, the author returns to creating a group project. The performance is a testing ground for desire. The body follows its own interests, tailors its identities, solves the consequences of rejection and searches for a space to express the repressed. What is on the margin is positioned to the foreground, and voyeurism becomes the main principle of perceiving the developments that unfold.
