Theatre project Utopia tackles the relationship arising between an audience on the one hand and a performance on the other. It sets to revisit this abyss, this barrier, this wall – as a love relation, as an equal partnership or as a romantic duel. The performance has no intention of lecturing the spectator from the position of a privileged pedestal, but attempts to open up to him with an invitation to enter, revealing its vulnerable and direct nature. Utopia is an invitation card for a journey into the Sixties, when art still believed in the impossible, namely in various utopian relations between individuals pushing towards their ideal community, which suddenly emerges here and now. Utopia: to change the reality and to introduce it in-to the performance.
