CoFestival 2013: The Art of Co-Living
September 21st–29th

Co-Festival, a unified form for three dance festivals in mutual intertwinement (Modul-dance, Ukrep and Pleskavica), explores ideas about the search for intersections, formation of common space and mutual help in the air of this year’s motto – The Art of Co-Living. It explores the diversity of artistic formats and approaches in relation to the meaning of knowledge transfer, trust and sustainability.

Stara mestna elektrarna – Elektro Ljubljana will host a performance by Foofwa d’Imobilité: AU CONTRAIRE – after Jean-Luc Godard. The performance draws its aesthetics and style from the French film director Jean-Luc Godard. The subject of “choreography on the shooting set” is an encounter; the possible and yet the impossible encounter of people and states, encounter between the planned and the coincidental, encounter of contradictions in behaviour. The Geneva-based artist Foofwa d’Imobilité challenges a spectator with new and rarely exposed themes and codes of representation.
