“Manifest K is a theatre situation that attempts to produce what could be seen as a groundbreaking or revolutionary gesture in Marx’s Manifesto by using its own (artistic) framework. Horvat’s turn takes place on the level of theatre’s functioning as an institution (since the theatre situation lacks firm structure, viewers/workers perceive it as a part of theatre as well as reality itself), on the level of understanding class struggle nowadays and on the level of individual’s conscious position in terms of his particular role in this struggle.”
