Artistic evening of six generations of graduates from SVŠGL: P.G.G. (Postgraduate Gathering)

Institute EMANAT will organize the first artistic gathering evening of graduates of SVŠGL secondary school – module contemporary dance in 2009. We have invited six generations of graduates, who completed their studies between 2003 and 2008, to participate in the project. Confirmations came primarily from former students, who continued their studies of contemporary dance abroad (Laban Academy of Dance in London, Rotterdam Dance Academy, Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance SEAD), or dance in Slovenia or abroad in dance groups. The evening, with a working title P.G.G. (Postgraduate Gathering) is conceived as a platform for the presentation of artistic development and achievements of former students of SVŠGL. Besides choreographic and dance projects, we have also invited students of other artistic programmes and provided them with the exhibition space at the Old Power Station – Elektro Ljubljana during the week of the events.

Precise programme information will be available by the end of February 2009.
