THIRDANCE

June 24 and 25 Open Studio from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 26 Exhibition Opening at 7 p.m., Performance at 8 p.m.

Thirdance is a performance with an exhibition about that third one which is created when two people meet and which begins to exist independently from the creators.

The meeting between the creators of Thirdance and the audience which will attend the performance with the exhibition will be a meeting that will create something additional, something independent of the expectations of the creators and audience. Thirdance is a performance that invites a viewer to comfortably immerse in the action and observe the way in which that third one, created by us, will begin its own life.

Thirdance consists of three groups of people (a group around the B‑side play; a group of students from the Department of Textile and Clothing Design at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering; and a group around the Bunker Institute, managers of the Old Power Station which has connected the B‑side and student groups), which will be creating in the Old Power Station for three days. Throughout this time, the students will be installing textiles all around the building’s premises in different relations towards the space and the dance content developed by Urban, Marjeta and other dancers.

You can experience their spontaneous creative work during the Open Studio hours, on Monday, June 24 from 5 to 7 p.m., and on Tuesday, June 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. We will celebrate the three‑day knitting of Thirdance on the third day of the stay at the Old Power Station, on Wednesday, June 26 from 7 p.m., when you will be able to walk around the exhibition area and attend the dance performance at 8 p.m.
