According to the latest data from the International Agency for Research on Cancer – IARC, the number of cancer patients in 2018 increased to 18.1 million, with 9.6 million deaths. The World Health Organization (WHO) expects this disease to become the leading cause of death in the 21st century. However, the number of people affected by the disease is much larger. Cancer also radically changes the lives of family members and relatives of the patients, who find themselves in a world where everything suddenly turns upside down, and vice versa – many things suddenly fall back into place again.

ŠIFT is a performative format that records systemic gaps in the four thematic areas – health, knowledge, work, rights – in the period 2018–2022. Unlike previous versions, we have placed the 4th Šift on the stage of The Old Power Station. Performed by: OHOLO!, OLFAMOŠTVO, Loup Abramovici, Marjan Stanić, Eduardo Raon, Enej Grom.
